Monday was a wonderful, perfect fall day. The air was crisp, the sun was shining, so we decided to go apple picking. Each year we go to Blue Jay Orchards and pick apples - way too many to eat! This was Jaxon's first apple picking year and I was so excited for him to experience this family tradition. Well, Jaxon was not impressed. In fact, he was pissed! He spent the majority of time trying to put the fallen apples back on the tree! Once he realized that was not working he gave up and crawled back into the stroller. He was done until we bought an apple pie - that put a sparkle back into his eyes.
Luca was excited for apple picking, as always. His first apple picking year we went with Luca's buddy from Ekaterinburg. Aidan and his family were out on the East Coast for a visit and we took the boys. Luca still talks about this outing and this year he said he wished Aidan was with us for apple picking. I thought it was so sweet and cute.
